I know that this is a little off subject, but I thought that it may be of interest to some of our readers, particularly in light of a couple of the earlier postings in which some dietary supplement companies and suppliers are being less than honest.

It is a link to the annual corruption review in which countries are ranked according to the perception of corruption.

As I am sure many readers are aware...a lot of ingredients for dietary supplements are sourced from China. That in itself is not bad as there are a lot of good honest manufacturers in China…but, then there are a lot of bad ones which reinforces the need for a robust testing regime. It was interesting to see that China ranked #78 in this survey.

I see that New Zealand still ranks #1 as it has since these surveys begun. Pleased about that.
